So this may take a bit of detective work to discover what I bought, and to find the software to run it!

He has a very common Chinese name, so a google search turns up all kinds of Chinese emperors who I am certain will know nothing about a prom burner. There are no documents in the box that say who made it, and the shipper no longer has an account on eBay. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no markings on the pcb that indicate what model it is. I bought a burner off eBay, and it has been sitting in the cupboard for a year or two until I finally got around to buying the DS1225's. So all you need to do is unsolder the part and load it in the burner, then read the info and save it on your hard disk. There are numerous standard prom burners that apparently work with the DS1225. I believe the "AD" means the part is not activated until it is used, which means the battery life starts from the time you put it in the circuit, and not from the date of manufacture. Thanks for the info on getting a free DS1225AD. Onto the replacement chip, so as not to lose the existing calibration data? Thanks! Jim W8ZRHi Jim, Scaled back their program.) Can somebody recommend an easy way to clone the firmware from a working 24XX (Maxim used to give out two free samples, but they've I got mine in less than a week, with a lateĢ008 date code. FYI, Maxim will send out one free sample of the DS1225AD-150+ non-volatile
